2026Driver Guido Jansen leads his pair of Cayman and Adje to the next obstacle during the harnessed competitions in Blaricum 2021. His co-driver is Luke Blokhuis. The cooperation between the horses, the skill of the driver and the palpable enthusiasm is pure enjoyment. If that also is happening on a sun-drenched day, what more could a person want?
Last Farewell
2026I was commissioned to make this dubbing portrait of Alice with her horse Evian, who was blind in one eye, with whom she had a special bond. The painting took fourth place in the Watercolor - Figure category at the American Art Awards 2025. It became also fourth at the 2026 Art Collectors Choice Awards.
